The programs start from $1,200. Deborah provides a free consultation.
The most popular programs are the 7-day ‘love-your-liver!’ and the 10/11-day ‘kick start’ detox. The longest detox is the 28-day ‘gentle habit maker’. If you need to stop your detox whilst cleansing you can at anytime.
Yes, you will be eating real food and snacks as well as the detox products – this is not a fast or juice fast. Meal suggestions will also be provided based on low fat, low G.I. recipes. Even cleansing days, you will be snacking regularly to help stabilise blood sugar levels. Foods will be recommended to you during your initial consultation, taking into account your food preferences and existing dietary habits.
Like most of our clients, you are concerned about toxicity, first and foremeost. Every day we are exposed to a whole range of toxins. Many clients don’t want to lose weight, therefore the detox can be tailored to take this in to consideration. You can expect to gain lean muscle and lose body fat, which is a winner even for very slim people.
Absolutely! I will support you throughout the program and guide you to keep you on track. Let me know if you feel you will require extra support to get you through. Your support starts from your first consultation and will continue with calls, texts and daily emails. Post detox, you are welcome to get back in touch for weigh ins.
Sorry but no! Please stop drinking both during your detox for optimum results. You can resume alcohol and coffee after. If you feel this might be a challenge, please mention this in your initial consultation for helpful tips on taking a temporary time out from alcohol and coffee.
This will depend on your weight, height and RMR (Resting Metabolic Rate). Results can be seen and felt in days. On average, weight loss during the 11-day detox is 3.2 kilos (7 Ilbs). Everyone is different of course. If you stick to the program, you will lose weight, body fat and inches.
This will depend on how intolerant you are. Some people are able to tolerant the shake whilst others can not. You can stop at anytime during the program as soon as you have any allergic reaction.
Yes! Exercise is encouraged, as it will help to burn fat. Listen to your body and remember your body is in detoxification mode and you may have less energy on deep cleanse days. If you aren’t a regular exerciser then you will still have good results without hiking or hitting the gym.
The detox programs are designed for busy on-the-go people. If you feel stressed, that’s even more reason to cleanse your system as some of us are more partial to eating junk food when stressed. Replenishing your body’s needed adaptogens assists the body’s own self-regulatory systems, thereby reducing stress and its negative health affects.
Some people get a headache in the first few days, or feel a bit light headed. This is a positive sign that the body is in detoxification and releasing the toxins build up. This should pass by day 5 and you will feel better. If you don’t contact Deborah and tell her how you feel. During your consultation we will go through a detailed pre cleansing questionnaire to ensure we work with your health needs.
No, you shouldn’t follow any detox whilst pregnant or breastfeeding. However, the protein shakes are fine to take whilst pregnant and breastfeeding to help support the body with vital vitamins, minerals and amino acids. Once you have weaned your baby you can follow the full detox program with cleanse days.
Of course not – the detox will ‘clean you out’ naturally and help to declog your system naturally. For some people who suffer from chronic constipation colonic irrigation can be an added aid, but it is not necessary.
